The Cask of Amontillado

Charters: The principal charters of a Cask of Amontillado are Montresor, the avenger and Fortunato, the wine connoisseur
Setting: This story is told in a medieval era in the southern europe
Point of view: the story is told in first person by Montresor
Slant: this story is rated in Suspence for me
Plot: this story talks about a very proud and twisted man that´s trying to avenge Fortunato for the injuries he has done, after a very well thought out plan, he gets his goal...
Theme: avenge the honor
Montresor's revenge has two conditions, what are they? was he succesful in performing these two conditions? the 2 conditions were to give a Fortunato a punishment with impunity
Why is it important that the story takes place during the carnival season?
it's important because in carnival everybody is celebrating and stop worrying about everything else so Montresor's plan could be done withuot witnesses
How did Montresor make sure that there would be no servants at his palace when he arrived there with Fortunato? Montresor told them that he would be absent during the festivities so the servants scaped to celebrate the carnival
What were Fortunato's succesive reactions?
even in the end Fortunato never lost the nerve, he thought Montresor was kidding him until his death
